Uprooting Tallaght: A live performance - Interlinking the Spiritual Body, on 4th August 2023

I took part in a collaborative project, Interlinking the Spiritual Body, where six artists, under the curatorial guidance of performance artist Lauren Kelly, devised a live performance to participate in Uprooting Tallaght, a Performance Art Festival commissioned by Rua Red and curated by Pauline Cummins and Lauren Kelly.

On Friday the 4th of August, we performed for over one hour on the grounds of Sean Walsh Memorial Park in Tallaght. We began with a collective piece that set the tone for the individual performances that followed as each artist then progressed with their own live performance, offering a personal interpretation of the themes of Displacement and Belonging.
