Screenings at the Curve: 6th March 2025, Dublin

This afternoon screening of short moving image works was curated by visual artist Fifi Smith (Irish Artist’s Film Index) and Dr. Margaret Fitzgibbon (Trinity College Dublin), and hosted by the Irish Artists Film Index.

Screenings at the Curve featured a curated selection of 12 experimental films and videos, presented in 6 pairs. For each pair, the first film was selected by the curators, while the second - a companion piece - was chosen by the selected artist. Each pairing was introduced with three clues that linked the two works. Using these connecting phrases, a short and relaxed discussion followed to conclude the event.

I presented my single-channel video piece Wall, which I paired with In the Robing Room by Áine Phillips, offering the clues: female history, female body, experience of pain.
