This has been the first time I showed Aesthetic Distance in a solo exhibition as well as this was my first solo show. With the kind support I received to execute the exhibition, this was such a trilling experience, and I would like to sincerely thank Anthony Stinchcombe, Artur Sikora, Atoosa Pour Hosseini, Clare Foley, Clare Lyons, David Monahan, Fergus Ryan, Fiona Reilly, Frank Brennan, Gavin Murphy, Gerard Clarke, Gerry Blake, Helen Burrows, Helen Doherty, Inspirational Arts, Jane Cummins, John Roch Simons, Jonathan Ho, Julia Ptak, Kelsey Lennon, Ken Folan, Ken Heffernan, Kevin Keane, Kymberly Dunne-Fleming, Mandy O’Neill, Mark Cullen, Mark Curran, Maureen Phelan, Melanie Zöbl, Mella Travers, Mette Roche, Padráig Spillane, Paul Bokslag, PhotoIreland, Rachel Fallon, Róisín White, Sara Flynn, Sarah Kelliher, Seán Laoide-Kemp, Shane Lynam, Susan MacWilliam, The Kildare Gallery, Tom Campbell, Tommie Lehan, Zoé Csepany, Yusuf Amod for getting behind this achievement.

Aesthetic Distance received first recognition in Source Magazine when reviewed in 2015. Soon after, few individual images were independently featured in group exhibitions at Royal Hibernian Academy Gallery in Dublin (2016, 2017), Royal Ulster Academy in Belfast (2016), Visual Carlow (2016, 2017) and in the Hennessy Portrait Prize at National Gallery of Ireland (2016). Finally, given the opportunity to introduce Aesthetic Distance as a project in a solo exhibition, I invited an artist and curator Becks Butler to collaborate and develop a critical response to this work and together we selected 9 images to represent this body of work, which were then exhibited in three different sizes: three by 103x103 cm, three by 78x78 cm and three by 53x53 cm.
